È un museo all'aperto, ai margini della spiaggia e dipende dalla Scuola di Armamenti della Marina cilena.
Il consiglio comunale di Viña del Mar lo ha approvato come edificio storico e architettonico il 9 maggio 2000.
Dal 1962, cannoni abbandonati che sono stati installati a bordo di navi da guerra e altri armamenti, come siluri, anti-sottomarini e armi antiaeree, sono esposti davanti alla Navy Weapons School.
Ogni cannone ha la sua storia (alcuni piatti sono stati rubati) e sono ben conservati, tuttavia, l'aria marittima sicuramente li danneggerà nel lungo periodo, anche se le loro bocche sono ben coperte, il che garantisce almeno che l'interno sia in buone condizioni. condizioni.
