This small agglomerate is made up of wooden stilts with pillar-mounted houses for flood protection.
Typical fishing village, located on the right bank of the Tagus, in Valada, Cartaxo.
Alves Redol came to live in this village, a great Portuguese writer who wrote a lot about the Tagus and its people.
