Built in 1568 by the wealthy miner Antonio Oré with the silver mine of Chumbilla - Canaria in the Province of Fajardo, whose 5 daughters became nuns and lived in it. The impressive pulpit carved in wood and the altar with its 6 altarpieces, canvases and sculptures such as that of "Jesús Nazareno" stand out, which according to tradition was made by 4 angels in Julcamarca (Huancavelica) image venerated in Holy Week and Patron of Huamanga that It leaves on Wednesday meeting.
It is located at the intersection of Jr. Grau (3rd. Block) and Calle Nazareno Ciudad de Ayacucho.
