The Sculpture Park begins its life with the sculpture Marta Colvin, National Art Prize (1970), and his work "Pachamama", which honors Mother Earth. A not fancy symbol.
Every summer is decorated with the International Jazz Festival, for example, which brings together over four thousand people a night in a very attractive urban-natural environment.
In the midst of a city debated by the need for new urban spaces where people become people and not consumers again, in the proposal of urban architecture on a human scale and in the search for peaceful spaces, Parque de Las Esculturas offers all this, besides from a direct view of the artistic legacy of much of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.
