The convent was composed of the church, around which were built the sacristy, the cloister and the former residence of the Masters of the Order of Avis, on the one hand, and on the opposite side, the inn, the dormitory and the courtyard of the cisterns. Nowadays, only the Church, the cloister, the Cistern, the Chapter Hall which houses the interesting Municipal Museum of Avis and the Canteen are only visible.
It is worth to know such an important part of the Portuguese Heritage and the Alentejo Region.
