the mysterious events recorded in the Russel Passage are already part of the territory of the inexplicable.
According to the events, reconstructed in the area by a chronicler of "El Angelito", several people –circumstantial visitors to the passage in question– were there victims of insults and / or curses. Specifically, they claim to have been puteados.Formulated in a stentorian way, and by different voices -in all the cases reported- the imprecations were committed, time and again, their authors sheltering in the most hermetic of anonymity.
Between Gurruchaga and Thames, near the Cortázar square from 4900 to 5100, are the two blocks of the Russel passage. Far from the madding crowd –to 1900 Borges street- its picturesque buildings, still recycled, preserve bits of past history. Highlights, 4900 a colonial house with huge windows with green bars. The house with the column at the door; that of the Angelito, and that of the black ship-shaped weather vane, also have their own. More to Borges' side there is one with little windows like a children's story. In that of the 5000, the funds of a garage with a Costa Rican front draw attention. Its old walls and large windows are today populated with modern and incomprehensible graffiti.
Theory
Heard in a nearby still life, it has as much support as this ill-fated affair. Apparently, a long time ago, in one of the little houses in the passage, an Irish immigrant named Brian Russel lived. A sort of outdated inventor, Russel was nothing more than an asocial. It is said that he never went out on the street. That he was very foul-mouthed and of lousy character. After failing several projects, the guy one day hit her. I design a toy for children that - although not for him - over time, would generate fortunes: the yo-yo. His creation transcended and so much that he ended we do not know how, yielding his surname to the passage. It would then be, according to the testimony of a fanciful neighbor who asked not to be identified, the ghost of that innovative hermit who was the author of the hearing attacks. Who knows why, he refuses to leave the ticket, and from time to time, he sends one of his own.

At the corner of Russel and Borges, it is a white house, with the characteristic Mediterranean construction sharing the urban landscape and the heterogeneity of other architectural interventions that play in the harmonious conjunction of the old and the modern.
