San Pedro is an arm of the sea in the province of Cádiz. It has its origin in the Caño de la Tapa, the municipal boundary between Jerez de la Frontera and Puerto Real; it crosses the north of the latter to then serve as a dividing line between Puerto Real and El Puerto de Santa María until it meets the Bay of Cádiz, at the tip of the Saboneses. On its way, it borders the neighborhood to which it gives its name.
It has a route of about 25 km and most of its channel is under the effects of high tide. All of the land through which it runs are of Quaternary origin, mainly marsh.
The San Pedro River is part of the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park
