Main land entrance in Arabian time, its construction dates back to the Almohad dynasty (12th / 13th centuries). In the 13th century, due to the Christian Reconquest, this entrance was reinforced by the Arabs with two Albarras towers, in order to facilitate the defense of the city and to make difficult the access of the enemy.
