The elegant Oakerthorpe Manor is a Derbyshire country house retreat accommodating up to 17 guests in its 8 magnificent bedrooms. In 6 acres of grounds with private woodland, marble fireplaces, bay windows and stripped pine floors feature in its luxurious living spaces.
Eight bedrooms include 4 with en suite facilities, among them the master suite with fireplace, king-size bed and south-facing views of the woods and gardens. There is a large lounge with TV and DVD player, a very spacious dining room and an oak-panelled games room with pool table.
The kitchen includes a fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, double oven and hob and washing machine. Catering services can also be provided on request.
A relaxing drawing room leads directly to the gardens, and this room, along with the lounge and inner hallway accesses a free Wi-Fi connection.
Just over 2 miles from Alfreton, Oakerthorpe Manor lies around 13 minutes’ drive east of Matlock, with the beautiful Peak District just beyond. Bakewell and Chatsworth House are around 30 minutes away.
