Of simple architecture, in style of the Brazilian colonial period, it resisted to the time, although it was bombed during the French invasion of 1710 and underwent several reforms, one of them in 1918, where it was made adaptation of a ward for college, appearing in the facade main doors and windows. Inside the church, the image of Our Lady of Health (main altar) and the Crucified Christ, which stands on the right side altar, are worthy of mention.
