The building of the former Lagos Tourist Office, today the Municipal Information Office is one of the local examples of modernist architecture that emerged in Europe in the early 1940s, stimulated by the new potential of reinforced concrete in Portugal in public buildings. as a genuinely Portuguese architectural style.
