Vila do Bispo denotes human occupation since prehistoric times, as can be seen in the 10 megalithic monuments of the area, especially Menir do Padrão 1, where, at the height of the archaeological excavation, a combustion structure was identified in the pit with associated molluscum remains and a small attached cobblestone.
The ensemble would be composed of fifteen copies that would form at the origin a Cromeleque, meanwhile destroyed.
It is thought that the whole is between the late Neolithic period and the initial Chalcolithic, somewhere between the 4th and 3rd millennium a.C ..
Located in the region of Vila do Bispo, in the Western Algarve.
