This garden, located at the edge of the Mondego river, allows a perfect reading of the riverside and the bay: on the other bank, to the East, the Queen Santa Isabel Bridge and the one that is the most beautiful curve of the river, with the salgueirais that flank it and, almost in front of Lapa dos Esteios, to the West, the slope of Santa Clara, where there are still some nuclei of carvalhal, in front, Praça da Canção, on the right side, the National Forest of Choupal.
In the right bank of the Mondego, this is one of the most pleasant urban parks of the country, much in the style of the end of the century. In the 19th century, where flowered and well-kept gardens stand out.
