Built in 1914 to strengthen the defense of Guanabara Bay, the Forte de Copacabana was the scene of the 1922 Tenentista Movement. It offers its visitors many historical curiosities and also a branch of the famous Confeitaria Colombo. The collection of weapons, objects and panels form the Historical Museum of the Army. .
