The Bio- und Wellnesshotel Eggensberger offers double rooms with a south-facing balcony offering a magnificent view of the Alpine panorama and the lake. The décor is bright and cheerful, and features native wood and natural materials.
The Allgäu region offers many sporting leisure options all year round. Guests can take day trips to the historic town of Füssen (4 km away) or the nearby royal palaces of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.
Wake up in the morning to a free breakfast, and choose between traditional dinner menus or diet-conscious buffets in the evening. All food served in the restaurant is natural produce from the family farm, and all other drinks and snacks are also organic.

Near the hotel and around the Hopfensee and Forggensee lakes are many hiking paths for all levels of difficulty. Many local guesthouses and mountain huts offer refreshments along the way. Guests can also hire a bicycle to explore the scenic area.
Tennis fans will appreciate the courts in Hopfen (just 500 metres away) with wonderful views. Other indoor and outdoor tennis courts can be found in Füssen and Weissensee. Guests who enjoy golf can take advantage of a 25% discount on green fees at Lechbruck golf course. Driving ranges are available in Schwangau and Bernbeuren, and a further 5 golf courses can be found within an hour of the hotel.
Mountain railways, summer toboggan runs, water sports, horse riding and balloon rides are all on offer nearby. During the winter, well-maintained ski slopes and a first-class network of cross-country ski trails await. You can also enjoy curling and ice-skating on Lake Hopfensee or at Füssens ice rink, as well as horse-drawn sleigh rides through the beautiful landscape.
