Erkner is a romantic place surrounded by nature.
The ‘märkische’ landscape is typical of the region with idyllic forests and lakes, near the rivers of Spree and Löcknitz, between the lakes of Flaken and Dämeritz and other quiet lakes in the forests.
There are many hiking and cycling paths nearby. The Albert-Kiekebusch path is really special, beginning in the park and winding through impressive natural surroundings. Take the time to enjoy the nature.
Mark Brandenburg offers charming surroundings and interesting attractions, including cycle tours along the Oder-Spree lake region, castles and gardens in Berlin and Potsdam, boat tours, Bad-Saarow thermal spa and Spreewald Forest. Our meetings hall for up to 300 people can be divided into 3 separate areas. With a total area of 400 square metres, it provides the ideal framework for your event, including the latest communications and presentation technology, wireless microphone system, back projection screen with video projector, and a mobile podium.
Modern media technology in our 30 seminar/group work rooms enables efficient study. A working area with Microsoft Office is available for lecturers/presenters.
A large back wall enables the projection of digitally prepared slides, videos or presentations directly from your laptop - using either artificial light or natural daylight. All of our seminar rooms are equipped with overhead projectors, flip charts, pinboards and a flexible presentation system.
In a special IT training room, you have at your disposal 12 PCs. Using Windows XP, numerous applications can be taught, such as MS Office, Lotus Notes or the internet. We would be happy to install any special software for you.
Our library is a specialist library, focusing on social security law in particular.
