Adjacent to the center of Santiago, the Bellavista neighborhood, located on the north side of the Mapocho riverbank, has lived them all: from being a Catholic and aristocratic area in its beginnings to becoming the mecca of the night reel in the nineties.
Illustrious visitors have been seduced by its spacious mansions, by its neighboring Metropolitan Park and by its current gastronomic centers, which have resurrected the area from the decline that occurred after its past heyday.
But it is not necessary to be a cultist of the night to recognize, search and be amazed by the small streets that make up the neighborhood. During the day the offer is as varied as when the moon and the bohemians make their joint appearance.

Santiago is accessed by air at the Arturo Merino Benitez Airport. Also by land via Panamericana via 5 Norte and from Valparaíso via Cuesta La Dormida.
Casa “La Chascona” by Pablo Neruda This house, built in 1953, was the third property of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda and the only one he owned in Santiago. Close to Cerro San Cristóbal, it has three floors. In La Chascona he lived with his last wife, Matilde Urrutia. Today converted into a museum, it is possible to visit every day except Monday.
Gastronomy
In the eastern sector of Barrio Bellavista, on Constitución street between Dardignac and Antonia López de Bello there are haute cuisine restaurants that offer a varied cuisine. Also around the corner of Mallinkrodt with Dardignac.
