The Austrian Society and Economic Museum is a museum in the 5th Viennese district Margareten. The museum has joined forces with the coffee museum at Vogelsanggasse 36 and, as a non-partisan association, also has its own board of trustees in the Republic of Austria and in the city of Vienna.
Otto Neurath takes care of self-help against the housing shortage with the settlement and allotment garden association. The building of the economic museum was built in 1888 and as a building complex the back wing of the address Stolberggasse 53 run primary school, built in 1887.
The economic museum has set itself the goal of keeping social facts in a simple and understandable way. In addition, lectures on political issues are offered in the economic museum, which can be lost free of charge.
Museum activities:
Lectures: Regular lectures on important and social topics are offered. The episodes and these lectures are free.

The coffee museum was founded in 2003 by Edmund Mayrationen.
