Its existence dates back to the 19th century, when it was known as the caletilla. The Fishermen's Union that makes it up was founded in 1938.
This is one of the most picturesque beaches, here you will not only find the delight of its calm waters and fine sands, you will also be able to witness the coming and going of the incessant work of the fishermen. On this beach is the modern artisanal fishing terminal. The stalls selling fresh seafood, and of course the inevitable restaurant, run by the fishermen themselves, who make even the most indifferent diner fall into the temptation of gluttony.
It is located on Avenida Borgoño south of La Boca beach.

By bus:
From the San Borja Terminal in Santiago located at San Borja Nº 235, in the Central Station Metro. In addition to the Central Station Bus Terminal located at Alameda Nº 3850, Metro Universidad de Santiago.
By car:
One of the options to get to Viña del Mar is through Route 68, you enter Valparaíso and follow the correct signs to get to Viña. The Viña - Valparaíso Highway is 5.5 km long and begins in Caleta Abarca.
There is also a direct route to Viña del Mar from Route 68 towards Variante Agua Santa or Route 66, to travel a beautiful path with views of the Bay of Valparaíso and the beaches of Viña del Mar.
The atmosphere is cozy and typical, the nets, the multicolored boats.
