The Museum of Popular Art, located in the Patio de Sao Pedro, House 49, in Recife, since November 21, 2008. It has a representative collection of all states of the Brazilian Northeast. Works in wood, plaster and ceramics (clay) make up the MAP collection that originally belonged to Galeria Nega-fulô, by researcher Silvia Coimbra, creator and one of the authors of the publication The Reign of the Moon, where most of the pieces in the MAP collection are pictured.
The MAP is linked to the Recife City Culture Foundation - FCCR, of the Recife City Hall.
