At the top of the hill with the same name rises the imposing mill with its structure of stone, sand and lime once characteristic of local construction.
The date of its construction is not accurate only if it is known that it is one of the oldest in the parish.
The parish of Paderne lived mainly from agriculture due to the streams. Its waters were used to water the crops throughout the year.
Cereals and nuts were the source of Paderne's wealth.
The winds were favorable to him, grinding ceaselessly except when it was a rising wind, when it was not possible to grind because it is a fickle wind and can last three, five or seven days.
At the moment the mill is reconstructed and ready to work being able to be visited being this property of the Meeting of Parish of Paderne.
