Built in 1820, it served to bury the Jews of this city, remaining in office until 1932.
The Faro Jewish Colony is a remarkable building of this city, located next to the S. Luís Stadium.
The eighteen trees at the door were planted in honor of Aristides Sousa Mendes, who saved the lives of hundreds (or even thousands) of Jews persecuted by the Nazis.
Classified as Property of Public Interest.
