The Chillán Cathedral, designed in its ovoid or parabolic structure, is one of the city's best known and most popular architectural monuments.
Inside you can see solemn wooden sculptures brought directly from Europe by Ortisei, a city in northern Italy and created by the great sculptors Peter Horn and Ferdinand Stufleser.
In front of him is the mosaic mural of artist Alejandro Rubio Dalmati, born in Chillán.
